Caitlin Matthews selected for GB handball squad

Caitlin Matthews has been selected for the Great Britain U18 women’s handball squad.
The squad will be playing in a tournament in Viborg, Denmark this summer.
Sue Whitehead, who helped co-ordinate the handball competition at the London 2012 Olympics said: “Caitlin thoroughly deserves to be selected to represent England. She is totally committed and has worked really hard. Everyone at Siddal Moor is really proud of her and wishes her luck in her handball career.
"Caitlin has worked extremely hard to secure her place and it is very well deserved!"
Caitlin also plays for NEM Hawks Handball Club that is based at Siddal Moor.
The U18 girls’ team have reached the EHA U18 cup final which is to be played on Saturday 17 May at the Copperbox Arena (Olympic Handball Arena, Olympic Park).
