A group of Wardle Academy Year 7 and 8 students have taken part in ‘The Great Wardle Bake Off’ over the last 6 weeks.
On Tuesday 6 May, the final took place with 5 pupils left in the competition.
Holly Smith (8B) made a chocolate and hazelnut praline tart, Emma Conway (8A) made a chocolate and orange mousse cake, Evie Armstrong (8P) made ‘Frozen’ cupcakes, Megan Doney (8B) made Bakewell Tarts and Julie Pilarska (7S) made a Polish recipe with pork.
Megan’s hard work paid off as she was announced the winner of ‘The Great Wardle Bake Off’ with her Bakewell Tarts.
Well done all to the pupils for making the final.
