Year 7 pupils complete sponsored walk
A group of Year 7 pupils from Wardle Academy completed a sponsored walk on Sunday 27 April for their Charity Pledge as part of Foundation Learning.
The four pupils involved, all from form 7 Dearnley, took part in the Hospice to Hospice 10k Sponsored Walk in aid of Dr Kershaw's Hospice.
They started at 10.30am and it took them around 2 half hours to complete.
When the pupils reached the halfway point at Springhill Hospice they were given refreshments, including an Easter egg each.
Mr Treanor, the pupils' form tutor, Mrs Holden and Mr Giles accompanied the pupils on the walk.
Well done Year 7.
