Springy's first birthday present

Springy has a new spring in his step today, he's popped down to Rentruck, who are a mere hop, skip and a jump away from Springhill Hospice, to thank them for his birthday present.
Springy is now one year old and to mark his birthday and their continued support of the Hospice, Rentruck bought the lovely green invertebrate a new top and some beautiful new biker boots with 'go faster' stripes.
Lillie Winterbottom, Springhill's Community Fundraiser, said:"Springy has only been at Springhill for a year now but believe you me, with the mischief he gets up to, it seems like a lot longer. What with all the events he attends for the Hospice and the school visits his shoes were nearly worn through - he chose the new design himself"
Rentruck's owner, Richard Cotton said: "We were delighted when Springhill asked if we would sponsor Springy for another year and very happy to see his new outfit, he is now synonymous with the Hospice, he even has his own Springy car air fresheners."
