Parents in the new library reading with their children
Kentmere Primary School celebrated the launch of their brand new library with a Cake and Coffee Day sponsored by Starbucks on Friday 25 April.
Parents were invited into the school to have refreshments and to read with their child.
The day allowed the school to promote reading between parents and children whilst showing the parents the fantastic facilities they have to help their children learn to read.
A school spokesperson said: "It was brilliant to be able to show parents the new library and see them reading with their children.
"It was a fantastic day for all the children and we were so happy that Starbucks were able to sponsor the day."
