A male was arrested on the 24 April when a positive evidence warrant was carried out at his property. He was charged 12 varied offences.

An 18 year old male has been charged with burglary after his finger prints matched prints that were lifted from a burglary in July 2013. He is due to appear in court on  7 May. 

A male was arrested in the early hours of Monday morning for drink/driving. He was breathalysed at the scene and provided a positive sample. He has since been charged and bailed.

Officers are going to be concentrating on Hare Hill Park over the next few days with regards to anti-social behavior. Any youths stopped that are believed to be causing a nuisance will have their details taken. If a youth has been stopped several times then action will be taken in the form of a warning interview or letter. 

Littleborough Lakeside

Between 10.00pm on the 20 April and 1.00am on the 21 April on Peel Street an unknown offender forced the roller shutter using an unknown implement to gain access and left as per entry.

Smallbridge & Firgrove

Between 7.30pm and 8.30pm on 20 April on Alexander Drive an unknown offender gained access to the rear garden by means unknown and smased a lower conservatory window by means unknown to gain entry.

Between 5.45pm on 20 April and 7.00am on 21 April on Belfield Mill Lane an unknown offender entered through an insecure communal door, approached a flat and used unknown means to gain entry.

Between 6.55pm and 7.10pm on 22 April on Belfield Mill Lane an unknown male claimed he was working and needed to have the victims meter switched off. While in the house the unknown male conducted a search of property.

Castleton

Between 11.00pm on 20 April and 6.45am on 21 April on Manchester Road an unknown offender forced the front room window by unknown means gaining access to the house.

Kingsway

Between 10.00pm on 18 April and 10.30am on 19 April on Tollgate Way an unknown offender attempted access though an insecure window but was disturbed. The offender made off in an unknown direction.

Between 9.30am and 3.25pm on 24 April on Waithlands Road an unknown offender smashed one panel in the kitchen window and entered the property.

Between 10.00pm and 10.20pm on 20 April on Wrenbury Drive an unknown offender attempted to use a spade from a garden to force a upvc door. No entry was gained.
