Year 7 Enjoy fun days out at Rock and River

At the beginning of April Siddal Moor Year 7 Activity Days took place at Rock & River Outdoor Pursuits Centre in Mawdesley. Amongst the activities, students had a go at climbing, abseiling, canoeing, kayaking, archery, high rope courses and raft building.
The purpose of the activity days was to allow students to try something new, gain confidence and learn from new and exciting experiences, encourage team play and bonding and further their personal and social development.
All students who attended the activity days had a fantastic time and thoroughly enjoyed the adventure.
There were quite a few slightly wet students and staff by the end of the day but spirits were certainly not dampened.
