Primary Care Trust declares national standards met

Heywood, Middleton & Rochdale Primary Care Trust has declared full compliance with the government’s national standards for healthcare.

The standards form an important part of the Healthcare Commission’s Annual Healthcheck which provides patients and the public with a comprehensive picture of the performance of NHS organisations.

All 24 standards are designed to ensure that health services are of a safe and acceptable quality.

The Healthcare Commission will now undertake a rigorous cross-checking exercise against the PCT’s declaration of compliance and take a view on whether the declaration is accurate with the results expected in October.
