Mum in a million

Date published: 10 April 2014

A Middleton mum received a gift to remember from her two children this Mother’s Day courtesy of Middleton Shopping Centre.

On Saturday 29 March youngsters Lilliah and Ruby Beattie put their creative skills to the test and designed a handmade card and poem hanger.

The two sisters were then entered into an online competition where their mum, Katie Tomlinson, was selected to win a memorable Mother’s Day.

Katie said: “I am overwhelmed to have won. The girls did a brilliant job making me a card and poem hanger each. To then receive such brilliant prizes made this a very memorable Mother’s Day.

“I’d like to thank the team and retailers at Middleton Shopping Centre for firstly keeping the children entertained and secondly for spoiling
me.”

Prices included a Nomination of Italy charm bracelet with Mother’s Day charm courtesy of Harveys the Jewellers, a manicure and cut and blow courtesy of Retro Hair and a Spring Basket courtesy of Beautiful Blooms.
