Children took part in an Easter eggstravaganza story time session at Rochdale Central Library based on the theme of animals.
The youngsters enjoyed fun with Young Persons’ Library Worker Ray Stearn and town centre chaplain Reverend Margaret Smith, who read stories and led some craft activities.
Councillor Peter Williams, Cabinet Member for Economic Development and Customer Services, said: “The children enjoyed a cracking good time at our Easter story time session. It was a great, fun and free activity for youngsters, which also showed them that Rochdale Borough Libraries offer so much more than just books on shelves.”
A second Easter story time event will take place on Thursday 17 April, at 2pm, on the theme of food. No booking is required, just turn up on the day.
