Date published: 07 April 2014

Coronation Street star Debbie Rush renewed her wedding vows to husband Andrew in a service at St Michael's Church in Bamford on Saturday 5 April.

After the ceremony, Debbie and her husband were joined by the cast of Coronation Street to celebrate the occasion at the Norden Arms.

The couple were joined by family and friends, including the entire cast of the ITV soap, at the ceremony to celebrate the couple’s silver wedding anniversary.

Debbie, who plays Anna Windass on the soap, arrived at the church in a vintage-style ice white fishtail gown with a retro cream fur stole and cream rose corsage whilst Andy opted for a dark brown suite for the occasion.

After the service, the couple and their guests then travelled to the Norden Arms in a vintage double decker bus.

A spokesperson for the Norden Arms said: “The evening was great. It was a very friendly, relaxed and enjoyable time for both guests and staff.

"Debbie and Andy were a lovely couple and a pleasure to deal with, as were their guests.”

Guests on the day included Alan Hansall (Tyrone Dobbs) with wife Lucy-Jo Hudson, Brooke Vincent (Sophie Webster), Alison King (Carla Connor) and Debbie’s on screen daughter, Ellie Leach, who plays Faye Windass.

Julie Hesmondhalgh (Hayley Cropper) returned to celebrate with her former cast members Anthony Cotton (Sean Tully), Helen Worth (Gail McIntyre), Jennie McAlpine (Fiz Stape), Jack P Shepherd (David Platt) and Catherine Tyldesley (Eva Price).
