Anti-social behaviour and damage near to the ginel near Great Gates Road and Moorcroft. 

A letter drop to be done on Moorcroft asking for residents input. High visibility in the area whenever possible and weekly visits.

Emerging Issues:
There has been a significant rise in reported thefts of pedal cycles all around Rochdale East, It appears that unknown offenders are targeting garden sheds, breaking in and removing bikes. The police would urge residents to ensure their sheds and outside lock-ups are secure, remove/cover/hide any items of value. Istall, if possible, security lights, shed alarms or consider bringing valuable goods into your house overnight.

If you witness any suspicious activity or see a collection of bikes unattended in an odd place please phone 101 immediately.

Police Pact Meetings

Police Pact meetings provide you with an opportunity to discuss any concerns that you have and to also meet with your local officers and find out what is being done to tackle crime and anti-social behaviour within your area. You can also help to set the priorities that the police tackle. The date, time and venue of the next surgery is 24/4/14 – The Strand 4:00pm-5:00pm. 

Domestic Burglary
Oldham Road between 9 March and 11 March 11:00am and 1:05pm:  unknown offender/s approach front door of terraced property and using sharp instrument try to force open solid wooden front door; causing dents in both frame and door. Offender/s unsuccessful in gaining entry. Offender/s make off in an unknown direction.

Friars Crescent on 15 March 9:00pm - 10:00pm: unknown persons are believed to have opened the victims front door where the spare key for the car is attached to the house keys in the lock of the door. Keys have been taken whilst victim and her family are in the living room. The car has been driven off the driveway. The car has later been found by police damaged and abandoned.

Hill Top Drive - 18 March 12:15pm - 9:15pm: unknown offender/s enter the premises via an insecure rear ground floor window - complete an untidy search of both bedrooms and remove property from within - exit via the rear door unlocking same with a key left in the lock
