RBH employees set to get the tills ringing for Springhill Hospice

Date published: 24 March 2014

This week teams of Rochdale Boroughwide Housing (RBH) employees will be putting their retail skills to the test as they take over the running of the Springhill Hospice charity shops with the aim of raising as much money as possible.

Seven teams of RBH employees will be involved in this 'shop challenge', each taking over a different charity shop for a day to raise cash for Springhill Hospice, which was voted as charity of the year for 2013/14 by RBH members. Unlike on the Apprentice, no-one will get fired, but there is a small prize for the best-performing team.

RBH teams are taking over the following shops from 9am until 4pm on the following dates and times this week:

• Monday 24 - Rochdale (Yorkshire Street)
• Monday 24 - Oldham Road
• Monday 24 – Heywood
• Tuesday 25 – Middleton
• Wednesday 26 - Oldham Road
• Wednesday 26 - Rochdale (Yorkshire Street)
• Thursday 27 - Rochdale (Yorkshire Street)

The teams have got lots of fun activities planned. Everyone is welcome to pop into the shops, pick up a bargain and raise lots of money for Springhill Hospice.
