The Hospice is preparing for their Mother's Day Spring Fair which takes place on Sunday 30 March. The fair will include a variety of stalls, food raffles and tombola. Preparation for the fair is going well with staff and volunteers making bunting for the event.

Dates for the Diary

Sunday 27 April - Hospice to Hospice walk. The walk involves setting off from Springhill Hospice at 10:30am and walking to Dr Kershaw's Hospice in Oldham.
Refreshments will then be provided at Dr Kershaw's before walking back to Springhill Hospice.

Woman of Rochdale

The committee behind the Woman of Rochdale award has announced that there will be a Young Woman of Rochdale award presented this year. Those eligible for the award have to have been born within the 25 years that the Hospice has been in operation and have had to have done something outstanding.

Go Green for Springhill

The Hospice has received a positive reaction to their Go Green fundraising event and have received lots of pledges from people who want to get involved. New pledges have come from Link4Life, both campuses of Hopwood Hall College and Barclays Bank in Middleton.

The Yorkshire Bank in Rochdale will be wearing green togs for the Go Green day and will also be holding a green tombola.

The Cemetery Pub will be selling a green cocktail for the event and will also be holding a raffle and an auction.
