Man arrested in Middleton after running down street waving a sword

A man has been arrested for affray on Whinfell Drive, Middleton this morning (18 March) after reports he was running up and down the street with a sword.
Several officers attended the area and the man is now in custody.
Officers have seized weapons from the scene.
Enquiries are ongoing.
