Cycle Addicts donates bike to Vincenzo Iannidinardi for charity event

Date published: 18 March 2014

Rochdale based company Cycle Addicts has donated a  new bike to Vincenzo Iannidinardi for him to use on his ‘Ride London’ charity event.

Vincenzo will be completing the 100 mile bike ride to raise money for the children’s charity WellChild.

Dave Brown, owner of Cycle Addicts, donated the bike to help Vincenzo raise money for what he said is a “great cause.”

Dave said: “When I first met Vincenzo he was a few pounds heavier but needed more than just fitness training, his bike needed servicing and he needed lots of guidance because he was new to this level of cycling.

“You don’t need to spend a fortune but you do need good advice and a properly qualified bike technician. We offer a bike fitting service which means that the bike is set up exactly for the rider; giving great increases in speed, comfort and endurance.

“I am so glad to be giving him this new bike for the event – it’s a great cause.”

Upon receiving the bike, Vincenzo said: “It’s great that specialist independent shops like Cycle Addicts still exist in Rochdale.

"I would have been lost without Dave. His knowledge and expertise have been invaluable in taking on this 100 mile event.

"This new bike is brilliant and knowing it fits me perfectly will be a big help on the day.”

After completing the bike ride in August, the bike will be auctioned off to raise further funds for WellChild.

WellChild is the national charity for sick children . The charity provides essential, practical and emotional support for seriously ill children, young people and those that care for them across the UK.
