Café Life launch at Touchstones

Café Life at Touchstones  was opened by the Mayor of Rochdale, Councillor Peter Rush.

Pure Innovations the new Café Life operator is a registered charity. Café Life will offer an opportunity to extend Pure Innovation’s cafe training to people with disabilities in the Rochdale area and will provide a great way for people to learn real work skills in a commercial environment to take into paid work.

Pure Innovations is a values led, creative organisation which promotes independence, offers increased choice and control and provides appropriate support to people with a disability, to enable them to make the most of their capacity and potential. 

Gill Moss, Senior Manager from Pure Innovations said: We are very excited about opening Café Life at Touchstones, Rochdale, a well known and much loved venue in the heart of Rochdale in partnership with Link4Life. We are keen to work alongside other organisations to compliment and enhance the services and facilities on offer to the people of Rochdale.

Head of Arts and Heritage, Julian Jefferson added: “I am really excited to announce the partnership of Touchstones Rochdale and Pure Innovations. As the new operator of Café Life, I believe Pure Innovation’s catering expertise will enhance the already dynamic arts & heritage offer at Touchstones Rochdale and the visitor experience in Rochdale Town Centre.”
