Town Centre Metrolink stop has ticket machines installed
Date published: 13 March 2014
Ticket machines have now been installed at the Rochdale Town Centre Metrolink stop ahead of its official opening.
As of yet, a date for the opening of the line into the town centre has not been confirmed by Transport for Greater Manchester, however it is understood to be in the next fortnight.
Final test stages of the line have started and involve the use of carriages without passengers so that the service can test out proposed timetables and check for possible operational problems.
