Danielle Hendry, Kerry Clegg and Louise Sanderson, sales advisers at Thomas Cook in Rochdale, are celebrating after winging their way to company awards.
Each year, the travel company awards branch staff who have performed best when it comes to sales targets and providing a good customer experience.
Manager, Jemma Allen, says she is delighted: “I am delighted to say we have had three out of our seven staff chosen as awards winners, which is a significant achievement and makes me very proud.”
For 22-year-old Danielle Hendry this comes as a double victory as she was also an award winner last year.
Danielle, who has worked for Thomas Cook for the past four years, said: “I feel great about winning the award two years in a row. I hope it shows that I’ve put in quite a lot of hard work over the past year but I do love my job.”
Louise Sanderson, who lives in Middleton and has worked for the company for the past six years, said: “I enjoy my job very much as you are dealing with something different every day. You meet all kinds of people and the challenge is to provide them with the kind of holiday which fits all their requirements. You also have to make sure that all the travel arrangements you make are just right.
“I’m very pleased and proud to win the award, much of which is about helping people.”
Kerry Clegg, who lives in Rochdale and has been in the travel business for the past 17 years, said: “I’m very proud to have won the award and I really enjoy the job because it’s great coming into work every day and helping people fix up their holidays.
“I like meeting different people and quite a lot of our customers are regulars and local people who I have got to know quite well over the years that I’ve been working in travel.
“One of my most memorable achievements in the past year has been arranging for 40 family and friends to fly out to Cancun in Mexico for a big wedding. It was quite a challenge making sure I’d got everything sorted out properly for all the guests.”
The trio will each receive travel vouchers to put towards a Thomas Cook holiday of their choice.
