Kirkholt - Priority 

  • What: Parking issues including parking on double yellow lines for a lenghty period of time when picking children up from Sandbrook Primary. 
  • Where: Queens Drive 
  • When: School times 
  • Update: To patrol the area at peak times, liase with highways in regards to tickets being issued.
  • What: Anti-social behaviour and damage near to the alleyway near Great Gates Road and Moorcroft 
  • Where: Great Gates Road and Moorcroft 
  • When: Day time, Evenings and weekends 
  • Update: Letter drop to be done on Moorcroft asking for residents input, High Visibility in the area whenever possible and weekly visits.

Domestic Burglary

Gilbrook Way – 3 February: Unknown offenders approach rear of property from unknown direction and use a screwdriver type implement to force open rear patio door causing damage to glass panel. Offenders make untidy search of all rooms removing property and make off unseen, stealing same, direction unknown. Exit as per entry. 

Gladstone Crescent – 9 February: Resident hears four knocks on her front door and looks out of the spy hole shouting hello several times, at which point unknown offender enters through insecure back door taking and stealing the residents purse before making off. The resident goes to the rear door to find this slightly ajar and realises that the purse has been stolen. 

Kildare Crescent – 14 – 16 February: Unknown offender(s) climb drain pipe to rear of property. Use unknown implement to smash open upstairs bathroom window open window and gain entry to house. From there they conduct a tidy search of property and remove jewellery box and flatscreen tv. Offenders attempt to exit via rear utility room door but find it locked and then exit as per entry with stolen items. 

Daventry Road - 14 - 15 February: Unknown offenders approach front of property from the front; using part of brick they use it to smash and cause a crack in the window panel of the front ground floor door. Offenders possibly also go to side of house and smash the side ground floor window of address using an unknown instrument. Offenders then make off in an unknown direction without gaining any entry. 

Queensway – 14 – 15 February: Unknown offender/s approach from unknown direction into garden and crack ground floor front window with unknown implement which creates a small hole in glass. The offender/s reach through hole attempting to open small window from inside but are unable to do so. Offender/s then make off in unknown direction. No entry gained and nothing taken. 

Denver Road – 15 February: Unknown offender approaches front of house and removes wheelie bin blocking rear access. Approach rear back door and uses a flat head type screwdriver to force beading from rear door. Two pieces are removed but fails to gain entry and makes off in unknown direction. 

Darley Road – 24 February: Unknown offenders approach rear of property from the garden. Resident sees offenders and answers the door to them, offenders offer to gardening work for ap for the sum of £20 . Resident agrees and offender one follows the resident into the house where he sees the resident removing cash from a wallet in drawer within front room. Offender one goes outside with the resident to explain the work they will be doing. Whilst offender two is talking, offender one returns to the living room and steals remaining cash from wallet placing the empty wallet back. Offenders begin increasing the amount they want to charge the resident for work. The resident refuses stating he does not want work doing any more and both offenders leave.
