Improvement work at the top of Yorkshire Street
Improvement work is currently under way at the top and bottom of Yorkshire Street in Rochdale town centre.
Work is being carried out at the bottom of Yorkshire Street to replace uneven and damaged flags. Work at the top of Yorkshire Street includes resurfacing.
A spokesperson for Rochdale Borough Council said: “Work is taking place at the bottom of Yorkshire Street to replace uneven and damaged flagging, as part of the Highway Improvement Programme.
"The top of Yorkshire Street is currently closed to traffic to allow resurfacing to be carried out following work undertaken by United Utilities last week.”
It is currently unclear how long the work will take to complete.
