Paul Maxwell arrested

Runaway killer Paul Maxwell has been arrested by police.
Maxwell, who absconded from police whilst out on day release on Friday 21 February was arrested in Albert Park Salford.
Maxwell was arrested just before midday today, Monday 24 February 2014.
Police had warned the public to be cautious if they saw the convicted murderer and not to approach him but call police immediately.
Maxwell was jailed for life in 1996 for the murder of 85-year-old Joe Smales in Wakefield, and robbery.
