Jimmy Cricket to perform at charity event

Date published: 19 February 2014

Rochdale based comedian Jimmy Cricket will be be part of ‘Stars Come Out for Francis House,’ a fund raising event to raise money for Francis House.

The event, which will take place on Thursday 10 April at The Oldham Coliseum, will see Jimmy return for another association with this popular charity gala.

As well as Jimmy, the event will be headlined by 60s pop icons The Ivy League as well as including a number of supporting performers. This year the event will be hosted by Jim Nicholas.

Event producer Dale Mulgrew said: “We have had tremendous support for these Stars shows over the years, to the point where we get asked when we are doing the next one. It is great that we have been able to arrange this next event in April and for our association with the Oldham Coliseum Theatre to continue.”

The event is proving popular with only 100 tickets left to be sold for the evening.

Dale added: “I am really pleased tickets for the show have flown out and this proves we have an attractive line-up on offer. It would be fantastic to sell the last few remaining seats, enabling us to have a tremendous atmosphere on the night and ensuring we are able to raise as much money as possible for such a worthy cause as Francis House.”
