Year 5 Cycle Training
The National Cycle Academy have been in school this week working with children in Class 5F. The children will be receiving their certificates from the NCA in the assembly on Friday morning. 

Story Sacks
All Story Sacks need to be back in this week please, as we do not send them home over the holidays. Therefore, there will be no Story Sacks this Friday afternoon. Thank you.

Year 6
Year 6 are visiting Castleton Moor Methodist Church on Friday morning.

Music Lessons
Lessons are £2.85 per week. Please make sure all fees are up-to-date in order to continue with lessons. Thank you.

Community Play bus
The Play bus will be on the Community Centre on Fridays from 3.15pm – 5.30pm. Free craft activities. All welcome.

School Assembly
You are welcome to come and watch your child in their class assembly. Class 2B is on Tues 4th March at 1pm; Class 2R is on Tues 11th March at 1pm; Class 1G is on Tues 18th March at 1pm; Class 1B is on Tues 25th March at 1pm; Class RD is on Tues 29th April at 1pm and Class RP is on Tues 6th May at 1pm.

Dinner Money
Dinner money is now £1.90 per day - £9.50 per week. Money needs to be paid either weekly in advance on a Monday morning or on a daily basis.
Our menus are on a three-weekly cycle. After half term we will be on Week 1.

Jewellery & Banknote Recycling
We are collecting any old or unwanted gold, silver; costume jewellery, watches, old/new foreign banknotes/old UK banknotes. The funds raised will go to RSPB. If you have anything you wish to donate, they can be handed in at school. Thank you.

Eco-News
We are recycling dead batteries – these can be handed into the school office. Thank you.

Boogie Bugs
After half term, Reception Class children will be starting a new music/movement session in school on a Friday afternoon. The children will have fun learning new songs, dances and play percussion instruments with one of our teaching assistants, Miss. Nickson and ‘Doug The Boogie Bug’.

Running Club
Running Club will restart after the half term on Tuesday 25 February.

Sainsbury’s Vouchers
We are now collecting these vouchers.

Easter Bingo – change of date
Easter Bingo will now be on Thursday 24 April after the Easter Holidays.

Half Term
School closes this Friday, 14 February at the normal time and re-opens on Tuesday 25 February.
