A fascinating time lapse video showing the construction of Number One Riverside library and offices, Rochdale Transport Interchange and Metrolink developments, from the start on site in April 2011, has been put together by Jonathan Hindle of Rochdale Development Agency.

Mr Hindle used hundreds of frames from the town centre web cam, until recently located on the roof of the 'black box', to chart the progress of the developments.

With the demolition of the Black Box (and the old bus station) imminent, the web cam has been moved across the road to the roof of Number One Riverside and is now in place ready to chart the demolition.
