Fifth person arrested as part of burglary operation

A fifth person has been arrested as part of Operation Edendale, an investigation into over 150 burglaries across Cheshire and Greater Manchester.
The 45-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit burglary at an address in Rochdale this morning, Thursday 6 February 2014.
He is currently in police custody.
Three people have already been charged as part of the investigation and one bailed pending further inquiries.
Daryl Kennedy, born 27/05/63, of HMP Forest Bank, Antony Bell, born 20/10/57, of Mitchells Quay, Failsworth, Rosemary Pollard, born 26/07/56, of Elvate Crescent, Cheetham Hill, have all been charged with conspiracy to commit burglary between 1 April and 31 December 2013.
They are next due in court on 25 April 2014.
A fourth man aged 31 from Salford was also arrested and bailed until 12 March 2014 pending further inquiries.
