Road closure in Rochdale town centre

Due to an incident in Rochdale town centre, a number of roads are closed.
It is believed that a woman is on the roof of the Wheatsheaf Centre car park and police have confirmed that officers are at the scene.
At least one fire engine is in attendance, along with ambulances.
Union Street & Penn Street are closed and traffic turning from St Mary's Gate onto Union Street is being diverted down Hunter's Lane.
Pedestrians are being prevented from walking down Yorkshire Street past the junction with Union Street.
