Sue Pickup has been named as the Rochdale North Citizen of the Year.
Sue received a trophy and certificate, which were awarded to her by Chief Superintendent Annette Anderson. Sue was also given a hamper, kindly given as a prize by Marks and Spencer.
During Sue’s 23 years at Meanwood County Primary School she has devoted time and effort to supporting the children of the school, she has become an integral member of staff and Sue’s pleasant and positive nature radiates throughout the school. It is estimated that Sue has served up around 3.5 million school meals, which shows her devotion and dedication to the pupils of Meanwood County Primary School.
Alan Mellalieu from the Rochdale Trophy Centre donated the trophy.
