Bus station car park closed as a result of vandalism

The car park above the old bus station in Rochdale has had to close for health and safety reasons as a result of vandalism.
It is not yet known when the car park will reopen but the bridge links will remain open for the time being.
Shoppers and commuters are advised to use alternative car parks.
Extra security is now in place on the site.
