Baby Play Baby Do
Date published: 15 January 2014
Touchstones Rochdale held a creative baby play project, ‘Baby Play Baby Do’, in the Art Gallery; parents were invited to let their babies crawl, cry and gurgle amongst the exhibitions. The drop-in session led by Sensory play specialist Frances Walker offered babies to explore interesting textures, colours, objects and fabrics in exhibition.
Speaking about the sessions parents said: “Nice Relaxing atmosphere, friendly, and lots of learning activities. My Grandson loved it.”
“Excellent session – really nicely laid out. Resources are very creative and easy to recreate at home.”
“We had a brilliant time playing with lots of new materials. Excellent sensory play!”
“Wonderful session. We’ve both enjoyed ourselves (with) all the great materials. It’s been a real pleasure.”
