Indecent images - police search Littleborough man's house
Date published: 24 April 2008
Detectives investigating a report that a man showed primary school pupils indecent images have arrested a 42-year-old man on suspicion.
Police were called when boys at the school in Ashton claimed they had seen pornographic images on a mobile phone.
The man's house, at Shore Mount, Littleborough has been the subject of intense police activity for the past two days.
Yesterday (Wednesday 23 April) police were said by eye witnesses to be "swarming all over the place", and were seen taking guns and rifles from the house.
Today (Thursday 24 April) the Tactical Aid Unit, resplendent in blue suits, are "all over the house".
A police officer at the scene refused to comment other than to say they would be there a "long time".
