Robyn Finc styles at London Fashion Week

Date published: 09 January 2014

Hairdresser Robyn Finc, from Rochdale, who styled at The Clothes Show in Birmingham before Christmas, has now styled at London Fashion Week.

Robyn, who is the franchisee of Saks Oldham, went to London Fashion Week with the Art Team from the salon but styled the models herself.

Robyn said: “It was daunting travelling there on my own but once I got there it was ok because I knew everyone from the Art Team.”

After styling at The Clothes Show in December, Robyn put herself forward to style at London Fashion Week and got the opportunity to style for the JW Anderson show. Robyn was in London on Monday 6 January and Tuesday 7 January to style for the show.

She said: “With it being men, it isn’t too hard. We did Peter Andre styled curtains at the front and then did the back messy.”

The JW Anderson show began at 9am on Tuesday 7 January so Robyn had to be up and ready to work for at 6am. “I had to travel on the Monday and we were working from 6am on the Tuesday so that was interesting” said Robyn.

Men’s London Fashion Week takes place all over London so Robyn only had the chance to style for one show.

When asked about styling at the show Robyn said: “It went really well. It was a really good show.”

Robyn trained as a hairdresser in Rochdale and has been working in the industry for five years.

Having successfully styling at two fashion shows, Robyn said: “I don’t have any plans yet. We’re going to focus on the salon at the minute and get people in there.”
