Lighthouse Project to help financial strugglers
Date published: 09 January 2014
A new short-term course has been set up by the Lighthouse Project Community Centre in Middleton, designed to help members of the community struggling with debt.
The course, which is due to begin next Tuesday, will help those with minor financial issues and is due to run each Tuesday for three weeks, starting at 7.00pm.
Pam Semp said: “This isn’t really for people with major debts. We’re just looking to give financial help to those that are struggling to with money.”
The community centre is also looking to launch a confidence building course.
There will be a taster session for this event at 2.00pm on Monday afternoon and if successful, the course will become a weekly addition to the Lighthouse Projects range of events.
