A man leapt over a counter and threatened staff at knifepoint in order to steal painkillers.

He jumped over the dispensing cabinet and threatened a member of staff with a knife while demanding Co-codamol.
A quantity of the drug was handed over and the man ran off.
He is described as white, 6ft tall, of slim build and was wearing dark clothing and a balaclava.
Detective Constable Michael Berger, said: “These drugs can be bought over the counter for very little cost so this man’s actions smack of desperation.
