Rugby club fund raising for player who broke his neck

Littleborough Rugby Union club has organised a fundraising day for Callum Crombie, who broke his neck while playing rugby, on Saturday 4 January 2014 from 1pm onwards at at Rakewood.
Callum broke his neck playing rugby for Littleborough Rugby Union Senior Colts Team on Sunday 22 December against Blackburn Rugby Union Senior Colts Team.
A club spokesperson said: "Our thoughts are with Callum at this difficult time. Although he has feeling in his arms and legs, he has since undergone an operation to the break in his neck.
"Best wishes go out to him and his family."
The fundraising day will feature Littleborough's First Team versus Whitehaven Rugby Club. Kick off is 2pm, followed by a post-match auction and raffle with all proceeds going to the Callum Crombie Fund.
