Kevin Boardman

The former Deputy Head of Bishop Henshaw (St Cuthbert's), Kevin Boardman, died on Monday 15 December after a long illness aged 75 years.
Kevin, of Craiglands, Rochdale, was deputy head and a geology teacher at the school for many years and was also very involved in the parochial life of Holy Family Church, Kirkholt.
His widow, Doreen was also a teacher of history at Bishop Henshaw.
John Heyworth, a former pupil of his, said: "It is said that some teachers leave an indelible impression on their pupils, Kevin Boardman was one such teacher.
"He brought energy and enthusiasm to his subject. He was well respected and liked by all the pupils he taught."
His requiem mass will be held on Monday 30 December at 11.30am at Holy Family Church, Kirkholt.
Committal at Rochdale Crematorium.
