Hassan Iqbal's Iain Paulinski Memorial Award
Young entrepreneur Hassan Iqbal received the Iain Paulinski Memorial Award for Outstanding Citizenship Service to the school at a celebration evening at Oulder Hill Community School.
Hassan, a former pupil at Oulder Hill Community School, received the award from staff at the school for recognition of work he did in school supporting staff and students.
“It was a big surprise when I got the award,” added Hassan.
At 16, Hassan is already has three businesses and currently focuses his attention on Creative Pixels, his web hosting company.
During his time at Oulder Hill, Hassan spent time speaking to other students, taking assemblies and supporting various students.
“All of the teachers from literally every department from English, Maths, IT, Business, PE and Pastoral Care have played a huge part in my entrepreneurial work and I'm grateful for it,” said Hassan.
The award is now displayed in pride of place at Hassan’s home. He said: “I’ve got it home now on display which is nice.”
