Christmas Productions
Well done to all the children and staff – the performances were fantastic and they all worked really hard.

Give Nature a Home
Well done to all the children who made bird houses – they were all fantastic. The winners are:
Creativity – Kyden Horrocks 3G
Recycling – Noah Irvine-Blasberg 2B
Durability from original materials – Ellie Rook 4P
Highlighting aspects of nature – Abigail Matthews 4P

St. Martin’s Church
St. Martin’s Church are holding a Christingle Quiz on Friday 20th December at 6.30pm.
The Carol Service is on Sunday 22 December at 6.30pm.
Midnight Mass is on 24 December at 11.30pm.

Music Lessons
Lessons are £2.85 per week. Please make sure all fees are up-to-date. Thank you.

School Assembly
You are welcome to come and watch your child in their class assembly. Class 6C is on Tues 14 January at 1.20pm. Class 6G is on Tues 21 January at 1.20pm. Class 3G is on Tues 28 January and Class 3L is on Tues 4 February at 1.20pm.
Well done to all the classes who have already had their assemblies – the children and class teachers have all worked really hard.

Dinner Money
Dinner money is now £1.90 per day - £9.50 per week. Money needs to be paid either weekly in advance on a Monday morning or on a daily basis. Thank you.
Our menus are on a three-weekly cycle. After half term we will be on Week 1.

Education City – Year 1 upwards
We currently use Education City in School. This is an online resource with fun activities that reinforces learning inside the classrooms. Children will be able to access this from home during the Christmas Holidays. They will be given a letter this week with their pupil ID and password on.

Diary Date
Parents Evening will be on 11 February 2.30pm – 5.30pm. More details after Christmas.
Contact Details
It is really important that you keep school up-to-date with any changes in medical details, addresses or phone numbers in case we need to contact you in an emergency.
Mrs. Coxell Retirement
The Governors sent out a letter with your child which you should have received yesterday. Mrs Coxell has decided to retire at the end of July. Her job will be advertised in the New Year and the Governors will be looking for someone who will be able to continue her excellent work as head of our school.

Christmas Holidays
School closes this Friday 20 December at the normal time and re-opens on Monday 6 January 2014.
