OAP Christmas Party
Date published: 18 December 2013
Over 70 local OAPs and there carers were invited to a Christmas Party held for them at Siddal Moor Sports College.
Students from Year 11 organised the whole event with the help of Mr Cook and Mrs Kitson.
The guests enjoyed a lunch of Meat and Potato or Cheese and Onion Pie and the usual trimmings, Mince Pies, Tea and Coffee.
Father Christmas even managed to make time to visit.
Entertainment was provided by students from the Performing Arts Course.
Guests were given Raffle tickets on arrival and a raffle was drawn with lots of different prizes to be won. Each guest left with a “goodie bag”.
A fabulous afternoon was had by all and the event once again was an overwhelming success.
Mr Cook and Mrs Kitson would like to thank everyone for attending and to all the students who organised and helped out on the day.
