Mission Christmas at Siddal Moor
It is estimated that there are 150,000 children in Manchester living in poverty and are not expecting a visit from Santa this year.
Students and staff at Siddal Moor have rallied to the call and in each form group throughout the school staff and students have made donations and used the money collected to buy and donate presents for Key 103’s Mission Christmas Appeal.
A student from each year group accompanied Mrs Mallion and Mr Jeffries to the Village Hotel in Bury to drop off the presents that had been collected.
It is the 2nd time Siddal Moor have been involved in this charity event and the response from students and staff has been amazing.
