Police car in collision with BMW

At around 12.30pm on Tuesday 17 December 2013, a police car, a liveried Ford Focus was in collision with a silver BMW on Manchester Road at the junction with Roch Valley Way.
The driver of the BMW, a man believed to be in his 40s, has been arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and remains in police custody for questioning.
There are no injuries and enquiries are ongoing.
Traffic is backed up in every direction with police controlling the traffic junction (1.30pm 17 December).
