St John with St Michael CE Primary School in Shawforth have had a busy week.
They have been doing Christmas role play, the cookery club have made traditional Christmas biscuits, the Early Years Unit have performed their fabulous play.
Christmas Lunch was on Thursday and 92 pupils stayed for festive feast provided by our kitchen staff.
There was a raffle also and Class 3 had lucky pupils as both main prizes were won by children in there, Charlie and Ebony both won a HUGE Christmas themed hamper each - they were so excited!
Next week is the Carols round the tree service, and this is bound to bring a tear to many parents, pupils and staff as the Headteacher of 16 years, Mrs Holmes, is leaving to take up the position of Headteacher at a larger school in another area.
All are welcome to attend the Carols round the tree service it starts at 2.00pm.
