Christmas Fair at Leonard Cheshire Disability Home

Leonard Cheshire Disability, a residential care home in Littleborough for disabled people, held their annual Christmas fair today (Sunday 8 December).
Organiser Louise Richardson said: “It has been busy today which is good.
"We have been preparing for the fair for the past few weeks.”
The fair included Santa’s Grotto, books, clothes and candle stalls, and music provided by Wardle Community Band.
Money raised will help the home with costs of vehicles and activitiesin and outside of the home.
Louise added: “We haven’t set a fundraising total but any money raised will go towards the home.”
Jane Shear-Smith who attended the fair said: “It is nice to see an event raising money for a good cause like this. This is the first time we have come and it has been a good day.”
Jane’s daughter, Ella, added: “I’ve had lots of fun. Its really good.”
Val Beresford commented: “They have done a good job. They have made it very festive, especially with the music.”
