Hamer Community Primary School at the Reindeer Parade

Thank you to parents, children and staff who attended the Reindeer Parade in Rochdale last Sunday. The children looked fantastic in their headdress and as usual were impeccably well behaved Citizens of the Week for week ending 6 December are all the children who took part in the parade.

A special Maths Assembly will be held on Wednesday 11 December at 10.30am to reward the children involved in some of our maths intervention programmes. Invitations will be sent home with the children involved. Thank you

Over the next two weeks we are fortunate to be having a Maths Consultant visiting in school. He will be dropping into lessons and working alongside teachers in order to further support the development of maths across school.

The Winter Fair will be held on Wednesday 11 December from 3.30pm to 4.30pm in the school hall. A variety of stalls will be available to buy things and there will be a Santa Grotto.

Donations for the Winter Fair of toys, books, games and chocolate would be gratefully received. If you have any of these items to donate please send them to school with your child as soon as possible.

Next Friday children who have been selected for the Lunchtime Recognition Award will be visiting Pizza Hut. A letter will be sent home at the beginning of the week for parents to sign giving their permission.
