Burglary in Milnrow

A burglary was committed on Bealcroft Walk, Milnrow, yesterday (3 December) between 5.35pm and 5.46pm.
The offender approached the rear of the property via undergrowth and damaged a small fence to gain access to the rear of the property.
The offender tried, unsuccessfully, to force rear patio doors, cracking the glass. Being unable to gain access the offender smashed the rear kitchen window and reached inside to steal property.
The offender made off when the property owner returned.
