Vehicle number plate theft

Vehicle number plates being stolen in both the Middleton and Heywood area. Victims in Heywood had number plates taken from their vehicles, overnight, Wednesday 27th/Thursday 28th November.
The police provide a Safe Plate initiative and the next location is on the top of the Middleton shopping multi storey car park between 9.00am and 1.00pm on Saturday 7 December 2013. GMP Rochdale South Officers will fit one way screws to help tackle number plate theft.
A police spokesman said: "If you are unable to attend, call into the Middleton Police Station public entrance, situated on Oldham Road, Monday – Saturday 9:30am to 5:30pm, to collect the one way screws if you wish to fit them yourself."
