Fire Brigades Union in Manchester tomorrow for strike talks
Date published: 28 November 2013
The Fire Brigades Union (FBU) has organised a mass meeting of firefighters in Manchester at 12.30 tomorrow (Friday 29 November). National officer Sean Starbuck will address the meeting at Friends House.
The union will be seeking members’ endorsement of the next phase of the union’s action in the dispute over retirement age and pensions.
“It is important to confirm that we have the overwhelming support of our members as we discuss further industrial action,” says union general secretary Matt Wrack.
“Meetings like this inform our national strategy decisions and ensure all our members know exactly what we plan and why.”
Please contact this office if you would like to speak to FBU national officer Sean Starbuck while he is in your area.
