Mission Christmas Cash for Kids Toy Appeal

Date published: 28 November 2013

RRG has partnered up with Key 103 to support their Mission Christmas Cash for Kids Toy Appeal.

Launched across the North West, Key 103 Cash for Kids Mission Christmas appeal is aimed at making a positive difference to 150,000 children living in poverty across Greater Manchester.

The appeal is asking for people to buy one extra present this year; a new and unwrapped gift that will be donated to a disadvantaged child to give them something to look forward to on Christmas morning.

Mission Christmas is hoping to raise £1 million worth of gifts suitable for babies, toddlers, children and teenagers up to 18 years of age. New and unwrapped gifts can be dropped off at:

  • RRG Toyota Rochdale: Edinburgh Way, Rochdale, OL11 2PD
  • RRG Peugeot Rochdale: Edinburgh Way, Rochdale, OL11 2PD
  • RRG Mazda Rochdale: Kingsway, Rochdale, OL16 4AP
  • RRG Skoda Rochdale: Kingsway, Rochdale, OL16 4AP

In return for every donation RRG will be providing a free cup of tea, coffee or hot chocolate and a mince pie.

RRG Managing Director, Tony Cliff, said: “With one in three children in Manchester living in poverty we are delighted to be supporting such a worthwhile cause this Christmas. The spirit of giving is very much part of the RRG culture and we hope that by offering vital drop-off centres the lives of thousands of children will be made more special this Christmas.”

If you prefer to give cash you can make your donation online at https://www.cashforkidsdashboard.co.uk/manchester/ or by calling 0161 2885000.
