Education, Health and Care Plans – update for parents / carers

Discussions with members of the Rochdale Parents Forum have been held regarding Redwood School hosting a meeting to update parents / carers on the implications and timescales for the introduction of Education, Health and Care plans from September 2014. The current statement of special educational need will be converted to a `My Plan’ over a three year period starting in September 2014. We have a group of parents who have agreed to use this new format this year at annual reviews and we will ask for their feedback. We aim to hold a workshop presentation in the New Year for parents / carers.
