Sunni Wilson looking for support for racing career

Date published: 14 November 2013

Sunni Wilson, 17, from Rochdale, is looking for sponsors and local support for his 2014 race campaign.

After a four year break Sunni returned to the Formula 400 class in 2012 racing a 1996 Honda CBR400 and came fourth overall in the series.

Sunni, who currently works as a builders labourer and lifeguard, moved up to the Formula 600 Class and raced a Yamaha R6 600 and came third in the championship, in spite of missing the first race of the season due to age restrictions in that particular class.

Sunni has a natural talent and is eager to move on to the bigger circuits and is hungry for success. His plans for next year are to compete in the Derby Pheonix 2014 Race Series consisting of seven race meetings from April to October at circuits including Anglesey, Cadwell, Croft and Snetterton.

A pre-season track day mentored by an Isle of Man TT/BSB Rider is planned and already Sunni is looking forward to the start off the racing season.

Sunni would welcome sponsorship from any companies or individuals interested in supporting him in his 2014 campaign.

Anyone interested in sponsoring or supporting Sunni Wilson Racing can email Sunni direct at sunniwilson26@hotmail.com or Susan at info@sk-art.co.uk and further information will be provided.
